	April 15, 2011: New Horizons Bank, East Ellijay, GA was closed by the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation was named receiver. Successor Bank: All deposit accounts, excluding certain brokered deposits, have been transferred to Citizens South Bank, Gastonia, NC Citizens South Bank 519 South New Hope Road Gastonia, NC 28054 History: Established in 1974 as New Horizons Bank ► Depositors must establish contact or the successor bank or the FDIC to reclaim their deposits. ► Not every depositor in a failed bank will receive notification from the FDIC, and there are time limits on claims of FDIC-insured bank accounts, CDs and safe deposit boxes.
